We are a small scale breeding operation founded in 2004 focusing on producing registered quarter horses and double registered APHA horses that have the potential to be all around performance prospects. Breeding stock is selected based on temperament, conformation and pedigree. Our goal is to produce a well balanced and versatile athlete using out-crossing as much as possible. All of our breeding stock have been 7 or 8 panel tested by UC Davis.
We unexpectedly lost our foundation stallion, TAMU Nu Bar Cody, at the end of the 2024 breeding season. We have found an older stallion with the pedigree, conformation, and temperament we strive for to span the gap between losing Cody and the maturation of our two 2023 stallion prospects. Nugget of Truth is a true ranch bred stallion tracing back to Doc Tari, Colonel Freckles, Peppy San Badger, Sonny Dee Bar, and Hired Hand. The up and coming prospects include: a son of Electric Code out of a Pale Face Dunnit daughter and a son of our beloved TAMU Nu Bar Cody out of our favorite mare Whips N Diamonds.
Our broodmare pedigrees include Metallic Cat, Hollywood Dun It, Shining Spark, Colonels Smoking Gun, Doc O Dynamite, Dual Pep, Zan Parr Bar, Peppy San Badger, Zan Silver Parr, Doc O'Lena, Docs Prescription, Joe Cody, Blue Valentine, Hancocks Blue Boy, Pale Face Dunnit, Playgun, Chicks Beduino, and Poco Bueno.
