Cody was started as a two year old and was an extremely fast learner. He inherited the fast learning, easy going nature of Topsail Cody. He was turned out to physically mature and received permanent injuries in the pasture. He is rideable and we use him lightly around the ranch for cattle work. Cody goes to local open shows and he is always well mannered. His oldest foals were born in 2009. We have heard good things about their trainability.
Cody's siblings have now earned over $30,580 in NRHA earnings, $423 in SHOT earnings and 149 AQHA points. He has full siblings that are competing successfully in SHOT and ASHA (stock horse associations).
Cody has sired a USTRC money earning son, HK Zan Bar Silver. Frost was in the top 20 at the USTRC 2013 Texas Championship at the Rose Palace in San Antonio. He also has a daughter, HK Scarlet Heat, that is a heeler who won a trailer at her first competition and continues to win weekend money and prizes. HK Nu Bar Dash who is also a money earing heeler. With BLH Wild Pepita Oak, Cody has produced several nice SHOT prospects including HK Nu Sailing Oak and HK Nu Peppy Oak. HK Topsailing Outlaw is successfully showing NRCHA and SHOT.
