Nugget was broke to ride but unshown. He spent the majority of his life as a ranch remuda stallion for McMullin Ranch. There he sired many working ranch horses and arena prospects. He was the foundation of their ranch horse breeding program and sired foals that were conformationally correct, super hardy with big bones, and trainable minds. He has multiple offspring that have gone on to be successful and proven riding/working horses in multiple disciplines. With the mares here, we hope to continue his legacy of producing good, solid using horses. 

The weather has not cooperated to get dry pictures but these pictures were taken by Ashley Keadle the weekend we picked Nugget up. He picked right back up under saddle even though he had not been ridden in years. Unfortunately, he does have arthritis from what looks like an old kick to the knee so we will not be riding him regularly. However, Ashley says he was calm, quiet, soft in the mouth, and responsive to aids.
